The MyStandard System is currently available for industry's usage in making online declaration to conform with toys safety standards regulations. Therefore, companies/businesses which have made registration of business activities manually, please click HERE. Also, companies which have not previously registered their business activity with this Ministry as prescribed under the Consumer Protection (Certificate of Conformance and Conformity Mark of Safety Standards) Regulations 2010, kindly complete the online business activity registration form to obtain the username and password in order to access the MyStandard System for declaration purpose.

Every consumer has the right to demand safe goods and services.  In the first place, it is always the responsibility of the manufacturers or suppliers to ensure that all products and services they produce or supply meet minimum safety requirements. Yet, incidents of non conformance to safety standards which result in defective products or low quality services may occur at any time along the supply chain. PRODUCT SAFETY Mandatory information standards are introduced to ensure that consumers are provided with important details of a product to enable them to make appropriate personal choices. Information standards require suppliers to give consumers prescribed information when they purchase specified goods for example, ingredient labeling for cosmetics, labeling for tobacco products and care labeling for clothing and textile products. While information standards may be safety related, they need not be.

1 General Safety Regime (i) Consumer protection which is based on Part III: General consumer product safety under the Consumer Protection Law 1999 [Act 599].
(ii) All products (goods & services) supplied, offered or advertised must be safe.
